Principles for the configuration of municipal pipe valves

Generally, at  the intersection, two valves are selectively installed in the three-way,  and three valves are installed in the four-way. The most  important users, it is best to install two valves at the ends of the entrance tee to ensure that they do not stop water conditions. If  the valve is not to be multi-valve, one well and one valve should be  used. The position of the brake well should be avoided as far as  possible in the concentrated area of the vehicle. It is best not to  affect the traffic, so as to facilitate the switch and maintenance.

The valves in the piping system should be selected according to the following regulations:

Closed:  The steam system uses a shut-off valve, and the low-pressure steam and  hot water system uses a gate valve or a ball valve;

For adjustment: shut-off valve, regulating valve;

For water discharge: ball valve, gate valve or butterfly valve;

For deflation: automatic exhaust valve, compound exhaust valve, micro exhaust valve or ball valve.
